Mrs. Kolva’s Homework Blog for Week ended 10-23-09
Document Processing – Monday & Tuesday we will do stock market game & there will be no Homework. Students will be assigned a reading and writing prompt due next Monday. Friday students will have a speaker from M&T Banks and we will discuss investments, stocks, current events and the economy.
Computer Applications- We will work on WIKI spaces and seniors will work on their individual newspaper articles on the speakers as homework this weekend and will also review their stock progress at home. Underclassmen will come up with questions for Friday’s speakers and those selected will act as reporters, journalists and photographers for the newspaper.
Advanced Computer Applications- They will not have homework this week but will be brainstorming about our Wiki pages bringing in ideas and thoughts of further utilization with them.
