Christmas is Just around the Bend
Computer Applications---- Students will create an excel grading and summary sheet that will be due Friday. They are creating posters that are due this week. As time allows we will be grading the power points and entering the information we perceived in excel.
Document Processing- We will be focusing on drilling the keyboard by typing the words to a song and then creating the 12 days of Christmas and researching it on the internet. We will produce a spread sheet in excel examining costs and calculating the total.
Consumer Economics- Students will work on budgets and checks and banking introduced.

Computer Applications- Student will be finishing up power points in period 6 after editing comments were given. Students will also be working on a brochure and poster based on the the environmental software and microsoft publisher.......
Consumer Economics- Students will be creating their own budgets based on actual spending. Test will be coming at the end of the week on the budgeting unit if we do not have inclement weather.
We will be doing technology related assignments as time allows for the holidays. The actual cost of the twelve days of Christmas will be researched and compared to the year they were born in microsoft excel.

Document Processing- Students will finish editing and peer reviewing their report on endangered species. We should finish up the software and discuss skills we used and developed in this section. We will then send a letter home to parents with this information. Excel Spreadsheet activities to look at sorting.

Computer Applications 8- Students will create username and passwords for turning in work into Edmodo. Students will utilize software and templates to create a professional letter to investors. Pie Charts will be finished and added to this letter.
Consumer Economics- Students will work on calculating gross pay and net pay, determining hourly wages and looking into work classifications. Test on Wages on Friday.

Quiz on elements of Publisher and for those who are working vigorously they continue to work thru Tutorials of Photoshop and a hard copy of a project then may work at their own pace to create a project of their own.
Geography 7- Today we will hold any makeup tests on chapter 5 Canada. We will look at a Discovery video on the providences of Canada for Monday and Tuesday then on Wednesday students will write a Canada Journal Response in the form of a 5x5 to Explain in Detail where you would choose to live in Canada and why if you had to relocate for a job or career.
